The RPM Speedway, located in Saint-Marcel-de-Richelieu, halfway between Drummondville and Sorel, is a ¼-mile track that opened in 2010. Previously, the site was used exclusively for motorcycle races. Attracting an average of nearly 2,000 people per race night, and this, about ten times during the summer period, the RPM is a real attraction for the region. Nicknamed the "Short Track Spectacular," the track stands out from all NASCAR-sanctioned circuits, not only because of its small size but also because of its family-friendly atmosphere between drivers and spectators. Note that children 13 years old and younger are admitted free of charge.
