Access to the region
Located at the confluence of the St. Lawrence, Richelieu and Yamaska rivers, the Sorel-Tracy region is the gateway to the Lac-Saint-Pierre Biosphere Reserve.
How do I get there?
Take highways 20, 30 and 40
From Highway 40, join the ferry at Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola and let yourself be carried to the Sorel-Tracy waterfront.
On the north shore, Route 138, known as Chemin du Roy, takes you to Berthierville, where you can take the ferry.
On the south shore, Route 132 runs alongside the St. Lawrence River.
Routes 133 and 223, along the Richelieu River, take you on a tour of our historic and architectural heritage.
